SnowSport ATV Snowplow

The SnowSport ATV Snowplow is the versatile little brother to the SnowSport HD Snowplow. Getting the snow out of your field is easy with a truck but when it comes to clearing it away from buildings and structures, the SnowSport ATV takes over. Throw it on the front of your atv and get to moving that snow. You'll never complain about shoveling snow again.

No Hydraulics or Electronics

Automatic motion in a snowplow is nice...when it's working. They are costly to purchase and just as much to repair. SnowSport designed the ATV Snowplow to contour to the landscape with a simple rail system that engages itself.

Rubber Cutting Edge

The rubber cutting edge is durable and adjusts to temperature. The colder it is, the harder the edge gets to cut into deep packed snow. When it's warmer the blades softens and imitates a squeegee.

Extruded Aluminum

The snowplow's blade is made from light weight extruded aluminum. The blade is available anywhere from 48" to 72" wide and 14 1/4" high. Aluminum is very resistant to rust and also light weight so it will last through the whitest of winters and one person can easily install or remove it.

Everything is Included

The SnowSport ATV Snowplow comes with the blade itself and everything you need to install it. The Kit Includes: the blade, push frame, hardware, angled interceptor, and model specific mount. Installation is simple and comes with step by step instructions.

Warranty Information

The Rubber Cutting Edge of the SnowSport ATV Snowplow is covered under a 3 year warranty from the manufacturer.
The rest of the snowplow's parts are covered under a 1 year warranty from the manufacturer.

SnowSport® Frequently Asked Questions

Can I install a SnowSport® myself?

Yes, installation is simple and the instructions are clear-cut. If you do need assistance, call 1-866-414-5422 between 7:30am - 5:30pm CST. To install the front mount hitch for the SnowSport® HD Utility Plow plan about 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your level of experience. From there the blade attaches in minutes. The SnowSport® 180 plow simply plugs into a 2 rear receiver. The SnowSport® ATV Plow is quickly attached by pins, no drilling or bolting is required.

Do I need to paint the blade to keep it looking good?

No, the blade is made of clear anodized, hardened extruded aluminum. It never rusts or needs to be painted.

How can a SnowSport® operate without hydraulics?

As you push snow, the blade travels up and down as needed by gravity. The rubber cutting edge is designed to cut through the snow but pass over the harder ground surfaces below and be gentle on grass. When you back up, the blade automatically lies back, skimming over the surface. Then you drive forward and the blade re-engages for plowing.

How do you switch from transporting to plowing or from plowing to transporting?

The operator manually lowers the blade one end at a time to start plowing. When the plowing job is done lift the blade one end at a time onto the push frame for transporting.

How easy is a plow to hook up or un-hook between jobs?

Its very easy. Just insert the push frame into the front receiver hitch and secure with pin. Then hang the blade one end at a time onto the push frame (can be done in less than a minute). Unhooking is just as easy.

How much do the plows weigh?

The SnowSport® HD Utility Plows aluminum blade is about 110 lbs. The complete kit with blade, push frame and hitch is about 225 lbs. The SnowSport® 180 Plows blade weighs 56 lbs. The SnowSport® ATV Utility Plow has 3 different sizes ranging from 54 - 72” with a blade weight range of 92 - 103 lbs. Complete kits with the blade and front mount range from 109 - 132 lbs.

How well does the rubber cutting edge hold up?

The rubber cutting edge is 1” thick and 6” high - made of a durable rubber compound. The life expectancy of the rubber is 10+ years.

" Received SnowSport All Terrain 60 inch atv plow within 5 days of order. Opened carton and was pleasantly surprised to find the quality of the product better than expected. Plow is built of quality products and workmanship. Mounted plow on Kawasaki Mule 550, 2 wheel drive and 9 to 10 hp. with rear end that locks. Had about 5 inches of snow on top of packed snow and the plow performed great. Did my drive and 5 others, one blacktop and 5 gravel, with ease. Believe will do the same with even more snow. Put together in about an hour and a half. Good instructions. I am glad I purchased the SnowSport. "

" I have recently installed a 66" snowsport plow on my JD HPX Gator. It has worked very well in snow of 5-6". The plow is relatively light in weight and very easy to raise, lower and change angles by one person. The installation and setup instructions were complete and easy to follow. All hardware came with the plow. I am very satisfied with the product. "

" It is great with the rubber edge blade it does not damage my asphalt driveway and brick paved sidewalks. I have a very long driveway and parking area next to house. It gets every where we cannot get with the pick up truck with the 8 ft 6 in wide plow. Also it is great that you just back up without lifting the atv plow every time, that idea is great, it saves a lot of time. Keep making a great product. "

" Has been used for three years now. Still works as it did when it was new. Works best on powder snow. If you let it get packed down, it does not get down to the pavement. Still a great tool for snow removal. "

" Works great! I wish we had more snow to use it more. And I spent a little extra for the 60" instead of the 48". My 500cc Honda works better than I expected. "

" I just put the SnowSport ATV/UTV plow together and it was very easy. I thoroughly researched this product online and could not find a negative comment. I was somewhat skeptical about the rubber blade area but again, everything online shows it working and functioning with no issue so I am very comfortable with my atv plow purchase. Bring on the snow! " Well, I just used my SnowSport 60" atv plow mounted to my 2006 Kawasaki Mule 610 for the first time, and I must tell you how pleased I am. New Hampshire is Fisher Plow country, and I have owned several on full size and compact trucks - but the ease and maneuverability of the SnowSport is amazing. My first test was 10" of medium weight snow, and I was able to push 100+ feet of snow at a time with no problems. Thank you very much for a great product - it's nice to see an American company invent and manufacture such a simple, yet well designed atv plow. With the expanding UTV market - you have a winner of a product! "
