The slant back design allows for easier transport of motorcycles, atv's, or even golf carts. The Moto X-Tender lays all the way across the back of the bed so there's no gaps for cargo to fall through.
The Moto X-Tender was designed with a slant back to make room for the wheels of your atv or dirt bike. It's mounted to a hinge so that it can easily be folded back and forth, that means with the tail gate closed it provides a nice cargo management area so things wont slide around. With the tail gate open, flip the X-Tender over and you get an extra 2 feet of cargo space for the longer objects.
Each Moto X-Tender has a vehicle specific application that will provide seam less operation and a perfect fit. Since each truck bed is different, a universal product wont work. AMP Research designed the Moto X-Tender for trucks of all makes so we have the right one for you.
Installation is very basic and only requires minor drilling for it to be installed on your truck. It comes with all mounting brackets and hardware for your specific vehicle and would only take about 30 minutes for the everyday handy man to install.
Amp Research wanted the Moto X-Tender to be lightweight for ease of use but still very strong for heavy cargo, so they used 6063 T6 aluminum alloy tubes that can handle very heavy loads, but weighs in at only 10 lbs. It takes very little effort to fold this thing in and out of the bed.
Powder coating is a great way to ensure that harsh weather and rain wont affect the aluminum over a long period of time and it provides a great finish to compliment your truck as well as match any other silver powder coated finishes on your truck.
