The EW8500S Winch packs a strong 5.5hp series-wound electric motor with a staggering 172.8:1 gear ratio for steady power and reliable torque all controllable by a wired remote switch. It weighs in a only 66 lbs which is 14.5 lbs lighter than the EW8500.
